Mark IV Capital Adds 'Living Wall' to downstairs lobby at o.c. headquarters

This April, Plantscapers installed Mark IV's new "Living Wall" to the downstairs lobby at 4450 MacArthur.
Plantscapers are experts in installing green walls and view them as works of art to bring endless hours of pleasure and health benefits for corporate or home environments. Each specific plant is set in a small box along the wall. These individual boxes are watered once a week by a Plantscapers Plant Technician and can easily be removed or replaced.

Paradiso Awarded LEED Certification Scottsdale • Arizona

Paradiso, a two-story 58,459 GSF multi-tenant medical office building is now LEED Certified.
Mark IV Capital worked together with Green Ideas to develop and implement multiple sustainable strategies throughout the building in order to establish Paradiso’s 37 LEED points. Specific building improvements include a replacement of the cooling tower, new climate appropriate desert landscaping, roofing that uses highly reflective material, and a redesign of the ventilation system to deliver more outside air to occupants.

Mark IV Capital holds 4450 MacArthur Open House Event at Orange County Headquarters
On January 28th, 2016 Mark IV Capital hosted an open house party to celebrate the completion and grand opening of the 4450 MacArthur Building. Friends, colleagues, and business partners were invited to join in the celebration and see the finishing touches on the new state of the art building. The evening was filled with music, great food and beverages, and exceptional company.

This December employees of the Mark IV Capital Orange County team designed a festive USA tree to be auctioned off through South County Outreach.
Mark IV employees headed over to next door neighbor, the Fairmont Hotel, and worked together and decorate this year's charity Christmas tree. An American theme was chosen to supplement our military care packages that were sent out in November. The tree was auctioned off at South County Outreach's annual holiday fundraiser on December 3rd.

This holiday season, Mark IV is participating in a Toy Drive for Frister’s Charity.
Fristers is nonprofit organization that is dedicated to supporting teenage mothers and their children. The charity offers a place of safety, community, help and hope to teenagers who have chosen to parent. Throughout the month of November, Mark IV employees have been bringing in toys for children ages 3-6 to help support the cause.
Mark Iv Team Collaborates Together on Military Charity Event!

This fall all employees of Mark IV Capital came together to create care packages to send to a military platoon in the Middle East.
The Mark IV team filled shoe boxes with necessitates such as socks, wet weather gear, food and tasty treats to send over seas. The care packages were delivered then to the platoon just a few weeks later.

Mark IV Capital recently purchased Eldorado Ridge; a Class A, three building property, that spans across 21 acres on W. 120th Ave in Broomfield, Colorado.
The company has immediate plans to create six spec suites with open floor plans and more collaboration areas to appeal to today’s tenants. The 324,269 square foot building complex is 80% occupied and is very well positioned for long-term rental growth due to the area’s growing population and tech influence.

This September Mark IV Capital closed on the purchase of an 88,000 square foot Class A office building known as Maroon V.
This asset is part of the Meridian International Business Center located on S. Maroon Circle in Englewood, CO. The building is anchored by Baxter, an international healthcare product company which occupies 63,000 SF. It neighbors another Mark IV Capital asset called Three Maroon Circle, which the company has owned since 2013.

Mark IV Capital moves into new Headquarters building at 4450 MacArthur
The Newport Beach Headquarters building was completed in early April. Mark IV Capital has moved into the new space occupying the entire second floor. The second floor focuses around open space work areas which promote a collaborative environment for all employees. Mark IV's space is also equipped with an outdoor balcony, multiple soft seating areas, operable windows, and traditional conference rooms.

Mark IV Capital received two nominations in honor of the General Motors IT Innovation Center in Chandler, Arizona. The project placed Mark IV in the running for "Best Tenant Improvement of the Year," as well as "Office Build-to-Suit of the Year." Mark IV Capital was well represented by both its Arizona office team and its regional asset managers who were able to be in attendance for the special event.

Cosentino North american Opens New Regional Showroom in Roseville, CA
In March 2015, Cosentino opened their new regional showroom and warehouse in Roseville, California. Cosentino selected Roseville as their new location due to its proximity to Cosentino’s active customer base. Mark IV Capital’s project, Foothills Commerce Center, was selected because of its attractive buildings and well maintained project. Asset Manager, Kelly Kharbanda, and Property Manager, Joan Moses, attended Cosentino’s open house which displayed their new space and showcased high quality, contemporary finishes.

General Motors IT Innovation Center at Chandler Freeway Crossing
Mark IV Capital is pleased to announce that their new development, the General Motors IT Innovation Center at Chandler Freeway Crossing, was selected as a finalist for the Phoenix RED Awards. Balmer Architectural designed the striking building shell and SmithGroupJJR designed an attractive office space. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company built the shell and tenant improvements with features like reclaimed wood panels, glass lined stair cases, and eye-catching building cornices. The building is expected to achieve LEED Gold and house 1,000 new employees for General Motors.

Mark IV Capital holiday charity event with the Fairmont Hotel & South County Outreach
Mark IV Capital partnered with South County Outreach and new neighbor, The Fairmont Newport Beach, to raise funds for families in need by participating in the second annual Festival of Trees Event. As a team, Mark IV collaborated to decorate a snowman themed tree that was auctioned off at the Silver and Gold Reception on December 3rd at the Fairmont Hotel alongside other trees that were sponsored by businesses, individuals and organizations. Mark IV's snowman tree was purchased by one of South County Outreach's board members and was donated to the Children's Hospital of Orange County.

Laying the final beam at the new HQ Building with architect Ware Malcomb
A Topping Out Lunch was held to celebrate a monumental day for Mark IV Capital with the placement of the final steel beam at the Newport Beach headquarters building located at 4450 MacArthur. Mark IV Capital invited supportive friends, vendors, partners, customers, and associates to attend the lunch and be a part of this milestone. The new headquarters will be the first building to be built in the Koll Center Business park in over six years. Mark IV Capital is excited about the continuing success of the company beginning in a new location in between the Fairmont Hotel and the Pacific Club.
